Over the course of several years,
Herndon has written extensively on a
wide range of issues dealing with
human diversity. He has also
traveled across the country
facilitating panel discussions,
training and developing
organizations, and delivering
spiritual/inspirational based
messages to a wide range of
audiences.
Initially focusing on sexual diversity
of gays and lesbians, Herndon has
expanded his expertise to include
ethnic, cultural, gender, spiritual, and
political diversity. His essays and
commentaries have been syndicated,
reprinted and distributed around the
world. His first book, Black Gay and
Christian was published in 2004. His
second book, Repackaged Common
Sense: A New Age path to career
and business success was published
in February 2010.
Herndon’s background is rooted in
corporate finance where he holds a BS
in Finance and an Executive MBA
with nearly twenty years of corporate,
non-profit and independent consulting
work experience across three different
career fields and four cities.
He began his career in corporate
budgeting and human resources
planning. He has expanded his career
to include an extensive
communications, media and public
relations background as an author,
commentator and syndicated writer
focusing on media analysis and the
interpretation of issues pertaining to
people-of-color, women and gays and
lesbians.
Currently Herndon Davis is a TV
Host and Executive Producer of
DiversityTV.tv, an online news and
entertainment video magazine.
Herndon also hosted and produced a
similarly themed program, which
aired nationally on the Dish Network
in 2005 along with an online radio
show. Herndon is fully dedicated to
bringing into full brilliant light the
colorful and productive lives of
diverse men, women, and children
from around the world.
He is firmly committed to spotlighting
the challenges and pathways towards
success for the socially oppressed
regardless of their ethnicity,
spirituality, culture, sexuality, and
political and economic backgrounds.
